Twitter will suspend user’s account who wish publicly for Trump’s death

President Trump reportedly has COVID-19, and while some are wishing for his speedy recovery, others have publicly tweeted a hope that he’ll die of the disease. As you would possibly imagine, that’s expressly against Twitter’s rules — and therefore the company tells Motherboard that it’ll enforce them. In other words: You can’t tweet that you simply hope Trump dies of COVID.

Twitter informed to publications that Twitter will suspend the account of those peoples who wish Trump’s death. Is this situation, nobody can figure out that how frequently Twitter is going to do that. Twitter is announced that offending content on page, tweets and content tagging on trump’s tweets will be removed.

You can see a recent reply on Trump’s original tweet from a person.

The actual rule under Abusive Behavior policy of Twitter is given below.

Wishing or hoping serious harm on a person or group of people

  • We don’t tolerate content that wishes, hopes or expresses a desire for death, serious bodily harm or fatal disease against a private or group of individuals. This includes, but isn’t limited to:
  • Wishing for somebody to fall victim to a significant accident e.g., “I wish that you simply would get run over by a car next time you run your mouth.”
  • Saying that a gaggle of people deserves serious physical injury e.g., “If this group of protesters don’t shut up, they need to be shot.”
  • Hoping that somebody dies as results of a significant disease e.g., “I hope you get cancer and die.”

Trump is currently headed to the Reed center for testing and treatment. Update, October 2nd, 7:21PM ET: Added additional guidance from Twitter that these tweets won’t automatically end in a suspension.
